Mac Sim Butler Detention Facility information

The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office is responsible for day-to-day operations at the Mac Sim Butler Montgomery County Jail. The facility is designed to hold 1,200 inmates per day.

The Sheriff's Office also states that the Montgomery County App provides a list of individuals currently housed in the facility, including the inmate’s complete name, booking date, bond amount, and charges. Inmate mail and booking number requirements

Incoming non-privileged inmate mail must include a return address with the sender’s full name, street address, city, state, and zip code. Mail must also be addressed to the inmate using the inmate’s full name and booking number.

Video visitation rules and hours

Inmates at the Montgomery County Jail may have visits through the Video Visitation Program. Visits must be registered and scheduled through the approved visitation system at least 1 day in advance and no more than a week in advance.
