This page helps Osceola County, Florida property owners handle common property tax tasks, including online payments, tax bill timing, delinquent taxes, and office contact options.
The main local channel for paying real estate property taxes is the Osceola County Tax Collector, including the Payments & Services - Osceola online payment service.
Online property tax payments
Osceola County property taxes may be paid online through the Tax Collector’s payment service. Use the official payment page when you are ready to pay real estate taxes or check tax bill payment options.

Tax bills, assessed value, and millage
The Osceola County Property Appraiser establishes the assessed value of property. The Board of County Commissioners and other levying bodies set millage rates. The Property Appraiser prepares the tax roll, and the certified roll is sent to the Tax Collector for tax notice printing and mailing.
Tax notices are sent to the owner’s last address of record as it appears on the tax roll. If taxes are paid through an escrow account, the mortgage company should request and receive the bill, and the owner receives a copy of the notice.
For purchase planning, the Osceola County Property Appraiser offers a tax estimator for approximate first-year property tax estimates. The estimator uses information entered by the user and does not include Non-Ad Valorem Assessments, CDD fees, or tangible personal property.
Tangible personal property taxes
Tangible personal property tax applies to furniture, fixtures, and equipment in businesses and rental property. It also applies to structural additions to mobile homes. The Property Appraiser assesses the value, and the Tax Collector mails notices and collects the tax.
These tax statements are mailed on November 1 and are due by March 31 of the following year. If the estimated tax is greater than $100.00, tangible personal property taxes may be paid quarterly.
Unpaid tangible personal property taxes become delinquent on April 1. At that point, a 1.5 percent fee per month is added to the bill, and advertising costs may be added after delinquent taxpayer advertising.
Delinquent taxes and tax certificates
Delinquent real estate taxes are advertised in a local newspaper before the tax certificate sale. A tax certificate is a lien against the property, not ownership of the property.
The Osceola County Tax Certificate Sale is conducted online on parcels with unpaid taxes. Bidding begins at 18%, and the certificate is sold to the bidder offering the lowest annual interest rate.
The 2026 Osceola County Tax Certificate Sale is listed as available starting May 9, 2026. County-held certificates may also be viewed or purchased online when available.
