Allen County Jail information

The Allen County Confinement Division is responsible for the care, custody, and control of sentenced persons and pre-trial detainees at the Allen County Confinement Facility.

Visitation, mail, and inmate account basics

Eligible inmates are allowed one free 25-minute visit per week. Additional paid internet visits are unlimited and are also 25 minutes long. Visitors must register through Getting Out or the Getting Out app, and visits are initiated by the inmate.

Mail for inmates is delivered between 2:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Letters or messages brought directly to the jail are not delivered. Mail is checked for contraband, and acceptable mail is copied and delivered to inmates while original mail is placed in the inmate’s property.

Inmate telephones are available in general population cellblocks from 7:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m., unless the privilege is denied or the inmate is serving disciplinary time.
