Delaware County court records on DoxPop

Delaware County also lists DoxPop - Search Court Records as a service for searching Delaware County court records.

The county service description identifies these available record groups:

Official copies of court records

The Copies of Records page explains how to request copies of court records or marriage licenses from the Clerk of Delaware County Circuit Courts.

The Clerk maintains and preserves court records while following Indiana Supreme Court confidentiality rules and retention schedules. Certified copies cost $1.00 per page plus $3.00 per document for certification.

Copies may be picked up at the Clerk’s Office in the Delaware County Justice Center. Use the court record copy request form listed on the county page when requesting copies.

Clerk of the Circuit Courts

The Delaware County Clerk of the Courts manages official court information for trial court cases with jurisdiction in Delaware County. The Clerk prepares permanent historical court records, processes court filings, issues court documents, and prepares certified copies.

The Clerk’s duties include records for civil, criminal, family relations, probate, and small claims divisions. The office also maintains the Judgment Docket and Record of Judgments and Orders.

Court filing and access limits

Delaware County requires attorneys to e-file court cases. People filing without an attorney may e-file or submit paper filings at the Clerk’s Filing Office in the Delaware County Justice Center.

The Clerk’s Office cannot provide legal advice. For help with forms, the county directs users to the Self Help Legal Center, District F Access to Justice, Indiana Legal Services, and the Indiana Courts Self Service Legal Center.

Court schedule information

The county’s Circuit Court Schedule gives general hearing and trial timing for Delaware County Circuit Courts. Schedules are subject to change and county holiday schedules.

Use the schedule as a planning reference, but contact the local court directly for questions about an upcoming court date.
