Search tips, map limits, and record accuracy
Liberty CAD says the online property search is for research purposes. Legal descriptions and acreage amounts should be verified before using them for legal purposes or documents. The appraisal district asks users to contact its office to verify information for accuracy.
The GIS tool is useful for parcel location and surrounding map layers, but it is not suitable for legal, engineering, or surveying purposes. It shows approximate relative property boundaries and related features, not an on-the-ground survey.
Some properties do not appear on the map. The help page says map coverage does not include personal properties, mineral properties, or mobile home properties. A property may also be missing if it has not been mapped yet.
Changes made with the appraisal district can take time to show online. The help page also notes that current-year tax data may show as N/A until values have been certified for that year.
