SCORSS account registration and viewing roles
SCORSS registration is used for users who need access beyond anonymous public searching. Subscription access must be verified before use. Most subscription types require a notarized User Agreement to be uploaded with registration.
Available viewing roles include public internet anonymous access, registered users, party access, attorney of record, judicial and clerk personnel, law enforcement, state attorney, public defender, school board truancy access, and other listed government or court-related roles.
Users who need an account can register for SCORSS access. Party-level access requires the specific case numbers to be submitted with the agreement.
Online access limits and confidential information
Online court record access follows Florida Supreme Court Administrative Order 2024-65. The access rules include a security matrix that restricts personal identifiers and confidential or sensitive information.
Because access depends on user role and case information, some documents or case details may not be available to every public user online. If a needed court record is not available through SCORSS, use the court records request process.
Electronic certified court documents
From within a case, users may add and pay for certain electronically certified documents. The non-refundable cost includes a $6 service fee, $1 per page, and a $2 certification fee per document.
Electronic certified documents are delivered by email. Users may also verify an electronically certified document through the Clerk eCert verification service linked from SCORSS.
Court records request portal
For court-related documents that need staff handling, use the Clerk’s public records request portal and choose the Court Records Request option. That request type is for public records related to court documents, including traffic tickets, injunctions, dependency matters, and other court records.
Requests for non-imaged documents or VOR images may involve additional service charges if extensive technology, clerical, or supervisory assistance is required. A written estimate and estimated completion date are provided before work begins, and pre-payment of estimated charges is required.
You can submit a Citrus County court records request or track an existing records request with the request number and security key.
Bulk court data export
The Bulk Data Export tool provides court data at no charge in accordance with the Supreme Court’s access order and security matrix. Users may request filings or dispositions for a selected period of time, and the information is exported in Excel format.
The export options include case, case party, case charge, and case docket information across listed court types such as civil, criminal, traffic, probate, guardianship, domestic relations, felony, misdemeanor, small claims, and traffic infractions.
Use the bulk court data export tool for data exports. Individual cases can be accessed through SCORSS.
